Rapscallion Table & Tap pairs amazing craft beers and farm-to-table food. The microbrewery and restaurant, which occupies the 1790s house, which was formerly home to Chez Claude, offers a menu highlighting local ingredients and dishes that transcend traditional pub food. Chef Ian Michaud boasts an education in classic French cuisine through the Le Cordon Bleu Program at the Atlantic Culinary Academy. His fresh takes on poutine, a dish consisting of French fries, gravy and cheese curds, fish tacos and other casual dishes elevate the menu beyond anything found at a typical brew house.
Wings and pulled pork smoked on-site, salmon cakes, meatloaf, fish tacos and an uber-decadent blue cheese dressing make March meals something truly special. Oh, and did we mention the beers? Rapscallion Honey is a local favorite, while Rapscallion’s Black IPA satisfies hoppy cravings.
Rapscallion also serves beer selections exclusive to the restaurant, and non-beer drinkers will appreciate the impressive wine list. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere make for a welcoming experience. The brewpub is also kid-friendly, so bring the whole family. Spice up your world with fabulous south-of-the-border fare and festive drinks at Ixtapa Mexican Grill & Cantina. Although not new to Acton in 2015, Ixtapa is fresh on the dining scene. Tasty street tacos, crispy chimichangas, delicious burritos and guacamole seasoned just right are a few of the reasons everyone is flocking to this welcome addition.
The cantina portion of Ixtapa Mexican Grill & Cantina passes the margarita test with flying colors. The lightly salted house margarita is a refreshing choice that’s never watered down, or you could opt for the top-shelf version for an ever more incredible cocktail experience. For a lighter, fruitier option, usher in spring with sangria this March. Hamburgers are available for tag-alongs not looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience in Acton.
